Welcome back to another edition of the Threshold Monthly Newsletter! It’s May, and we’re excited to bring you the highlights from April. The flight simulation community has had a month full of thrilling updates. We saw the release of several new aircraft, including the Aerosoft CRJ V2 and the FlightSim Studio Boeing 727 Passenger Version. Additionally, new scenery was launched, featuring Aerosoft Düsseldorf Airport and MK Studios Seattle-Tacoma Airport. We also witnessed the highly anticipated release of ChasePlane by Parallel 42. April was certainly an exciting month, and we hope May brings even more great developments!

This time, we revisit September when Sem travelled to northern Norway. He explored Harstad/Narvik Airport, which was created by daghb. The scenery is compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The airport serves the cities of Harstad and Narvik and is surrounded by stunning landscapes. It is definitely worth trying out if you want to fly to a new destination.

We are excited to announce that the PA-28-161 Warrior II for X-Plane 12 is now available. This package offers a highly realistic representation of the PA-28-161 Warrior II, developed in collaboration with Thranda Design. The PA-28-161 Warrior II is a four-seat general aviation aircraft commonly used worldwide for flight training and touring.

The aircraft is equipped with numerous impressive features. It has been meticulously modelled, incorporating 8K textures and PBR materials to achieve a highly realistic appearance. The cockpit is also accurately designed and includes a comprehensive Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). Additionally, all systems within the aircraft have been custom-coded. These various features ensure that the aircraft offers an authentic experience, greatly enhancing realism for the user.
