Threshold Monthly Newsletter
October 2025
Message from the Editorial Team
Welcome to the nineteenth newsletter from Threshold!
In September, we wrote an incredible total of 71 news pieces and four articles.
Another month has passed, and we bid farewell to October as we welcome November. That means it's time for the latest edition of the Threshold Monthly Newsletter. October brought a wealth of news within the flight simulation community, including the release of the iniBuilds A340 for MSFS 2024, the PMDG 777 Sound Pack for MSFS 2020/2024 by Boris Audio Works, and the Lisium Design Vilnius International Airport for MSFS 2020/2024. We also witnessed Aerosoft and ToLiss previewing the upcoming A340-600 Pro for MSFS, Prague Dev Co. teasing Palma de Mallorca for MSFS, and the announcement of the LevelUp 737NG V2 for X-Plane 12.
The news only covers the tip of the iceberg, and we hope that November will continue to build on the amount of news that October brought. As always, we will keep you updated on the latest news.

Top Freeware Of The Month
Last month, Anders travelled to the Middle East, specifically to the west coast of Saudi Arabia, to explore the newly released freeware rendition of Red Sea International Airport for X-Plane 12. The airport began operations just two years ago, in 2023. The scenery was created by the new developer, Skydom, which is also currently working on Al Maktoum International Airport and Mykonos Airport. With a variety of features, this scenery is perfect for those looking for new destinations to fly to in the virtual skies. |
